One of the most breathtaking castles in the world sits atop a rocky hill overlooking a quiet little town. This grand castle was built around 1605 and boasts an impressive number of rooms. To be precise, it has 365 rooms, one for each day of the year. Each room has its own unique design and name, including the famous peacock room, adorned with a myriad of colors from the floor to the ceiling. After the original family sold it, the castle served as a hotel for quite some time until it closed down in the 1990s.
What’s even more intriguing is that there’s an unfinished hotel on the property that was abandoned due to construction delays. To this day, I still can’t quite fathom how such a magnificent structure was left to decay. It’s possible that someday this majestic castle might be restored to its former glory.
