Married with two sons, Neal Duncan and Malcolm Angus, Malcolm Archibald McRainey’s life was tragically cut short in 1914. Nevertheless, at the time of his passing, his abode was hailed as a gem of Southwest Georgia’s countryside, a testament to his stature and prosperity. Following his demise, the estate passed into the hands of his eldest son, Malcolm Angus McRainey, who tied the knot with Effie Holt. Despite their union, the couple remained childless.
Upon Malcolm Angus McRainey’s passing in 1958, his estate transitioned to Mrs. Effie Holt, with a stipulation in his will that upon her demise, ownership would revert to the McRainey lineage.
